Client Name: Dan Dynasty

The client, who is a food manufacturer, wanted to establish a line of business that specializes in frozen food, and thus the creation of Dan Dynasty.

My Role: Packaging Designer

In this project I was given a concept by the client: they wanted to create a packaging that's not only eye-catching but also story-telling. The character design is inspired by the chinese Song Dynasty, an imperial dynasty of China that is famous for their pursuit of a highly aestheticized way of life. The packaging is divided into four main series: the Royalty, the House Specials, the Intellectuals, and the Warriors, each has its own representational character, colour palette, and slogan. The final products are colourful, playful, and surely hard-to-miss when passing by the fridges in the supermarkets.
